Keystone Utility Systems

I recently had a scheduled appointment in Marble, MN, 55764 for a water meter change on 6/25/25. The employee that was scheduled to come into my home was unprofessional and inexperienced. The employee had claimed that he couldn’t fit behind my furnace to locate the water meter that was down in my basement, therefore was not able to replace the original meter. I have attempted to contact this company on numerous occasions without much success. Today I chose to reach out again via email, I got an email back from Keystone utilities office manager (Shantel Altemose), stating “This project is over for our company you will need to reach out to the water department going forward.” Keystone Utilities is a terrible company, forget contacting them if you have a real concern.

After they cancelled my first appointment for my Aqua replacement, they did not even bother to show up for the 2nd appointment. Glad I took off and waited around for no one to show up or call or text to let me know they are running late. I contacted Aqua directly so they are now replacing my meter, so I do not have to deal with this company ever again.

Dwayne & Korbin were absolutely kind, professional, and efficient. Really grateful to have had the opportunity to meet them and have our home taken care of properly. Felt like I had known them for years. Bravo to the hiring manager.

Martin, our water meter tech in Steamboat, was so nice and very efficient. Incredibly professional and punctual. We had a hard time finding the water meter for the replacement and he figured it out.

Their water meter replacement services that they provide for Aqua PA are a disaster. First, they fail to let you know that if you have an older home with lead pipes that still work, you will have to have the piping changed to copper by your own plumber - a job that costs more than $5000 - before Keystone will perform the "free" meter replacement. They also won't let your plumber just put in the meter as part of the work he already has to do on the pipe. Second, the Keystone techs have a habit of not showing up for scheduled appointments. Took off work and waited 2 hours for one to arrive, he never showed up and I then got a call from his dispatch that he had an "emergency" and there was no one else they could send out. Several weeks later, I again waited an hour and a half and finally call
