Nolan at the Keyway Lock& Safe in Fort Collins store was professional, the only locksmith who gave me a breakdown on pricing to replace a key fob on a 2022 Chevy vehicle. The part came in faster than expected and I was able to make an appointment that day to have the service completed. I would 100% recommend Keyway Lock& Safe. The price quoted is what was charged and included the replacement key fob.

If you’re considering having keys programmed here, read this first. We brought in a fully functional vehicle to have new keys programmed. The technician failed to complete the programming but still charged us $80. To make things worse... When we tried to leave, the ignition would no longer turn. Prior to this visit, there were zero ignition or starting issues. The key would not rotate and the steering wheel was locked. The car arrived drivable. It left on a tow truck. The technician did not understand what had happened and offered no solution. After he failed, there was no clear explanation, no recovery plan, and no meaningful assistance. Wanted three residential doors and deadbolts rekeyed for security reasons. Keyway Lock and Safe is the company I have used for both residential and commercial purposes since Jeremiah purchased the business. They have always been expedient and have been reasonably priced. I keep going back to them whenever the need arises. I do not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. They are great!

Absolutely terrible customer service. I scheduled Keyway Lock and Safe eight days in advance and then received a call from the owner several days later saying that they'd received a big commercial job and needed to change my appointment. I explained that my rekeying needed to occur on a specific date due to an eviction but the company didn't honor my appointment even though I booked prior to the commercial gig. This company doesn't respect all clients and certainly doesn't honor appointments. Please give your business to someone else.
