I was watching TV and I get a knock on my front door. Open up my door and it’s a young man standing there around 18 years old(Mason). He proceeds to tell me that his dad and company that he works for has extra asphalt and wanted to know if I would like my driveway done. I advised to him that I’d to talk to my wife on it. I was talking on my phone with my air pods in to my best friend he heard the entire conversation. About 30 minutes later he came knocking again saying his dad is on the phone and wanted to talk with me. I advised to his dad the same thing I told his son I have to talk to my wife. The dad than told me no payments due today for the work to be done we will discuss paperwork when I arrive. So I said forget it lll figure something out to make payment. They pulled up and starte

Kicking asphalt appears to have been contracted by Spotsylvania County to work on Gordon road. Today, 06 July 2016, I was stuck in stopped traffic while they were getting set up to work. While I was letting that surprise sink in, I told myself that this unexpected delay was part of my county improving itself. It was at that precise moment that a kicking asphalt driver chucked a coke can out onto the road. Really? Is that the kind of contractors we are paying? Ones who toss their garbage in our lawns? (I know I sound like the cranky old man from Up, but maybe he had a point.) Kicking asphalt... you need to take a good look at the culture within your company. Maybe there is more to it than trash, but that's all it means to me right now. I will gladly change this review if you can change

So I didn’t actually get service from kicking asphalt but they tried to run me off the road on interstate 66 W. then after I reported them to the state troopers I figured I would do the business a solid and call them to let them know that one of their drivers is inevitably Going to get someone hurt and that maybe they could reach out to them and tell them to slow down and pay attention on the roads. The receptionist At their headquarters insisted that I had no clue what I was talking about because they “didn’t own those kind of trucks” even though the phone number I got for the company was off the side of the truck I’m looking at...you know the one that just tried to push my van full of kids off the road and over a cliff. Trash company, trash people, trash ethics....trash!

Kickin Asphalt did an excellent job. Their price was competitive and they showed up on time. They even came back the next day and put all the concrete blocks back and re-stripped the entire parking lot! Above and beyond!

I'm not sure about this but I pretty sure Bill is out going door to door pulling the whole "I have extra blacktop..." scam. Take care lest you fall into this trap and end up with a nice looking driveway that lasts one year.
