Kidd's Floor Sanding

Don't ever go down this road. Robert seemed very professional at the beginning of the process and then it all went down hill. We took 2 days to move all our furniture so that he could start on this past Monday. Did not start on Monday as agreed. Called on Tuesday to get an update, no response. Called again on Wednesday and he hung up on me. No response since. Totally baffled as to why this all went down the way it did.

I hired Robert to refinish my floors and he seemed great when he came to do the quote. The day he was supposed to start I planned to meet him to let him in the house and give him the deposit. I had to get there 2 hours late because I was at a birth (I’m a midwife) which of course couldn’t be planned for (and I had told him I was on call ahead of time). So I met him and let him in, and he and his helper were bringing their equipment in — he still acted very nice and I had no hesitation about having him do the floor. I went home to sleep and didn’t have any more contact with him that day. In fact I’ve never heard from him since. I went back the next evening to find that no work had been done. Do not use or do not pay out before they finish the job. I was told the job will be finished within a week. It started in a week, and then they just stop coming in. Never answered or returning my phone calls.

Would love to give a good rating. Scheduled the job, said would be here at 8am. Never showed up or called. Called them no answer.
