Kindled Timber

This was the BEST experience with a service company we've had since moving. Our gas fireplace has an old valve our inspector didn't want to break it so it was never tested. We finally had some extra to get it working and gave Kindled Timber a call. The recording suggested making an appointment online. The whole process was very easy! Troy arrived and took a look and got it started right up. He suggested a couple things we needed to plan on getting done but assured us it was safe for now. He also walked me through working it. We also discussed other options if heat output was the main goal. He did not charge us for this visit which was amazing and also allows me to discuss with my partner how we want to proceed in getting it tailored to how we want it. Never having a gas fireplace before, I was unsure of how often it needed inspected or cleaned. I called Kindled Timber to schedule an appointment. Troy arrived and did a thorough cleaning and inspection of my gas fireplace. In addition, I really appreciated that he took the time to show me the different components and what I could do in between service calls to keep things operating smoothly. My first interaction with Troy and his company was excellent and I gave him a 5 star review. His work is outstanding! However, this review is strictly based on customer service. I called to schedule my annual maintenance for my fireplace. Troy is always booked and busy, and it took a few days for him to return my call. We scheduled an appointment for November 5th. He called that day saying he was running a little behind but would let me know if and when he could make it. I sent him a text over an hour after he was scheduled to arrive assuming he was not going to make it that day. He said he would call the next day to reschedule. That's the last time we communicated although I called and sent several texts with no response from him. I could understand if he didn't want me as a custom
