King Pumps Inc.

Don't buy anything from King Pumps, Inc. without checking their return policy etc. My husband bought some connections that they did say would fix our pump. They did not fit so he was going to return them. NO WAY, the man on the phone said my husband must be on welfare to be concerned with a $26 return. Also said it would cost $15 restocking fee, return shipping charge would be $26 so he should just keep the connections. The man was so belligerent and so unprofessional. I do not recommend this company at all.

Sold me one of their brand pumps, even though that wasn't the model and brand I showed them when I went to purchase the pump. It hasn't been a year since we've had the pump. I have had two certified plumbers examine and test the pump. Both say it's not working but when my mom took it to them, they somehow put it on a machine and says it works. I think because she was an older woman they just showed her some type of illusion and said it was still working. I'm sure it's still under some type of warranty and could be replaced.

I feel SO LUCKY to have gotten Eddie at King Pumps when I was trying to find a replacement pump for my well. My old pump had been pulled out and was sitting in the carport, but we couldn't make out a lot of the writing on it because it was SO SO old and severely faded. (mfr date of 12-9-86 !! ) We were afraid to buy a new one without knowing how many GPM worked in our well. We had the mfr name and model#, but no one (including Google, etc.) had any specs on it - NOT EVEN the mfr!! They don't keep specs that long, so they were of zero help, but Eddie was super patient, and SO knowledgeable... He kept doing research on it in between other customers till he figured it out 🙂 Amazing to have such great customer service in this day and age!! Thanks again SO MUCH!!

Kings Pumps "Eddie" was really short and not willing to help with warrantee questions on a pump I bought less than a year ago...When buying the pump the sales person was really helpful in helping me pick the right pump. Eddie got angry when I asked if it would be covered under warrantee and told me he would give me a contact in my area to call for the part I needed. I will not purchase from them again because of the rude treatment when trying to get a replacement part that I was willing to pay for even though it should not have failed. I found the part I needed at Wholesale Pumps Direct, it was a good experience ordering the pump parts I needed.

I’ve gone in and also called on the phone recently, the sales guy is rude, disrespectful and has no customer service skills. He basically told me this is a store for professionals and you need to know what you want, otherwise I can’t help you. I can talk to someone at Northern Tool and which doesn’t even specialize in Pumps and have someone tell me exactly what I need to buy….. I’m amazed they’re in business ….. definitely annoyed enough to spend my time writing this review. I’ll find someplace else to go or order it online.
