Klassen Corporation

The worst. From holding on to sub contractors money to cover their own overhead, to mismanaging jobs that drag out for YEARS, to ordering extra work and then not paying for it, Klassen is a dark spot on the construction industry. Once I had to call the bank AND the owner of a project to find out that Klassen had been paid, but had not distributed any monies to their subs. Lots of employee turnover speaks to the lack of integrity in Klassen's leadership. In their most recent antics, they submitted our billing for 60K more than we had completed, even AFTER we didn't agree to that billing. If you are a small company, Klassen will sink you without worry. How this company is in business is surprising.

Trying to submit change orders and zero have been approved. Hours of work, hundreds of thousands of dollars back owed!!!! Each of them coming back “denied”. No explanation, and can’t get ahold of anyone or answers…. These change orders mainly came from Having a completely different set of plans that were originally bid on. Hours of clerical work with repetitive resubmissions and still no support or help on this matter. I would not work with these ‘professionals’ EVER. SKIP on to the next opportunity. The negligence of payment to small competitive companies trying to survive is a sink or swim situation. Please consider this review while contemplating your ‘opportunity’ to working with these people
