Best contractors we've interacted with in years. We had 2000 sf of red oak floors redone (1000 sf due to exterior hose bib water leak and another 1000 to lighten everything together). Had to do it in 2 or 3 stages, over 6 months or more. These guys have the depth of understanding, exceptional experience, patience, commitment to quality and honesty, and good humor that we'd all love to see in anyone we hire to improve our homes. It's taken me years to write this review. I initially told myself to wait a while and see if I cooled down. So, I can say with total honesty this review is just. I was/am disappointed in my floor installation. Not only were my floors installed incorrectly, but I was asked to go over 6 months with baseboards pulled off to see if that would fix the issue. When it didn't, my floors were reinstalled- however, they were again poorly installed and have gaps and are uneven in a lot of places. Also, the crew did not show up a number of times. Overall, I had a terrible experience.

The amazing team at Kristynik just completed a repair to over 800 square feet of custom pecan flooring in our home and a refinish of nearly 1,900 square feet. Sadly we had a burst hot water line that destroyed the floor in our kitchen, breakfast room, and hall. Because all of our floors were laid in a continuous run, it was necessary to refinish ALL of our flooring after repairing the section that was water damaged. We were frantic that there would be no way to match the new floor to the original floor still in place, but they reassured me that they could do the job. They didn't just do the job.....they did an FABULOUS job! You literally can't tell where the 5 year old floor ends and the new floor starts. We had a custom color, and they matched that perfectly also! Everyone who helped on
