Krog Car Park

Let me join the chorus in saying absolutely do not park here. I just got an overstay bill for $75 (“reduced” to $45 if you pay right away) for a time stamp literally 2 minutes over the amount I paid for. You are NOT paying for the time spent in the actual parking space. They don’t tell you that the starting time stamp is the time they take a picture of your license, entering the deck, before you even find a space, get out, figure out the payment system, and pay. The time stamp out is the time they take a picture of your license plate picture as you exit the deck. I had family with me that needed to get situated in the car before we could safely exit onto the road. I will be disputing.

DO NOT PARK HERE! I got sent a ticket after paying over $50 already for 4 hours. I was in the deck for a few minutes after my parking ended (I extended it for another hour but their system didn’t finish the transaction). Take screenshots, etc of whatever you do, bc if you try to dispute, it will get denied. I go down there often and will park elsewhere moving forward (also told everyone I know not to park there).

Sent me a violation notice and $45 bill for parking 45 minutes on a Thursday for my doctor appointment and even on Krog ST Market's website it says: 1 HOUR FREE PARKING M-TH. Even though I provided proof of my doctor appointment -- which matches with their own time stamps of my vehicle entering and exiting the garage, they rejected my dispute and request for a "one time courtesy waiver" stating that there is NEVER any FREE PARKING. DIRTY LIARS AND SCAMMERS. I'll park elsewhere in the future and probably won't be visiting #krogstreetmarket anymore. UPDATE: I resubmitted a dispute with screenshots of Krog St Market's Free Parking 1 hour M-F before 4:00pm along with proof of my dr appt and Premier Parking waived the fine as a one time courtesy. Do NOT park here! **EIGHTY-FIVE DOLLAR TICKET** I am not surprised to receive a ticket for overstaying the time I paid for, HOWEVER, the ticket itself is absolutely excessive and exploitative. I was shocked, since I've never received an $85 parking ticket in the decades I've been driving. I highly recommend not parking here just in case you accidentally overstay what you paid for due to a slow restaurant experience or forgetfulness, etc. And, for salt in the wound, they add a $4.99 "online convenience fee" at payment. Extremely disappointed in the experience overall. If you do park here, be sure to pay the ticket within 30 days, as they "discount" the cost to $50. Scan the QR code. Enter license tag & text#. Your credit card card. Select two hours. Get a text, reminder when you’re almost done. VALIDATE! Local restaurants can give you a code. Failure to do this will cost you. I paid $14 plus for three hours. So much better than a parking ticket, which typically happens when I park on the curb.
