Kenya is a doll. He explained how a heat pump works as it goes thru its various stages. And how it works poorly during real real cold snaps. I get it now. He showed me how to tell if the heat is working by going outside and touching the black tubing. If it's hot it's working! We never had this kind of heating system in NY.
