L A Ornamental / Gate Operators

I Ordered an FAAC controller retrofit kit and received only the control board and nothing else in the kit. When I called they said the rest of the kit is separate from the board (even though their website says everything is included with the board). They told me they were in business to make money and if they sent me everything their website says is included in the retrofit kit they would lose money so they can’t do that. They said if I wanted the rest of the kit I bought, I would have to pay another $400 something dollars to which I said absolutely not and hung up.

I wish I would have read the reviews for this company. I ordered a part for my gate that was not correct. I called several times and it is hit or miss if you get anyone. The last time the secretary said to hold on for the owner. I was on hold for 15 minutes and gave up. I then tried emailing them twice. No response either time. Nothing. Just google the business address and look at it and tell me if you think they are reputable. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND GO TO A REPUTABLE SELLER OF PARTS--- BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Well no response to my email and "The mailbox is full" response on the phone call leads me to no other option than to write this review. Buyer Beware!!! Customer service is everything. I understand mistakes, but providing ZERO response is unacceptable. The adapter that goes between the coax and the antenna was not shipped. If I knew the part number I would just order it myself.

This company is awful. They refuse to send your parts, then tell you they need more money because the part you ordered has gone up in price. They ship you damaged parts. They don't respond to emails. Buy parts anywhere but here. You will be sorry if you do.

The team at LA ornamentals have been great to deal with. I made numerous phone calls to them asking many questions without yet being a customer. They were very helpful and kind. I ended up purchasing a new gate opener from them and they shipped it out promptly. Thank you so much to Johnny and all at LA ornamentals.
