Its free and gorgeous!! Use the bathroom before you drive in. There's 2 outhouses in the middle of the drive. Its about 2 hours long
It's worth the 3.5mi (7mi round-trip) hike from Green Mountain Overlook if you want to see big alligators up close! But beware, it would not be hard for one of these gators to grab a small dog or child on the Clay Island Loop... You're really in their neighborhood when you're walking out here.
It is a great place to see birds and gators
Nice small view of Lake Apopka, view is in between two large trees
You can't get there. I think only walk. At least gate is open only Friday through Sunday.
