Lakewood Countertops

We went to several countertop stores shopping for our counters. Went to 2 large chinese ran stores one that I have worked with before . We finally settled on a quartz but find out its out of stock. Frustrated then on the way home we see Lakewoods store and stop in. I gave the clerk our dimensions plus they had the quartz we wanted so a few days later received the estimate.I was thrilled with the price as it was quite a bit lower than the other stores . They then came out and measured with a fancy measure machine. A few days later they called and made an install appointment. Today the install men showed up on time and got to work. Im a fussy guy and just want to gush over the installers as the fit and finish was extra top notch. I've had 2 other counterop jobs done in the past and this inst

Very happy with this design firm. After water damage ruined our cabinets we had to decide whether to just replace them or totally remodel our kitchen. We opted to go big, and it was worth the months-long effort: we now have the kitchen of our dreams thanks to Pamela’s guidance and knowledgeable advice. She totally understood our goals and supported our whims. And the counter fabrication, led by Russell, was flawless. The cabinets by Hayden Island, recommended by Pamela, are a daily joy to use. We’ve received many compliments on our kitchen from friends, and highly recommend Pamela to them.

Good sales, good installation of countertop, sink and stove. We had a bit of a challenge installing the new downdraft fan involving several service calls over a six week period. Lakewood Countertops and their installers seemed interested in getting the job done to our satisfaction. Installation seems adequate, though downdraft fan and blower (purchased through third party) do not perform nearly as well as those originally in place.

Went into the store in the last week of March wanting to order a full wall of cabinets. Sales rep said she would email me within 3 days. Got an email at least a week later she was waiting on the manufacture to get back to her. Didn’t hear anything, sent 3 follow up emails over the next month. Called last Friday and was assured someone would call me by end of day Mo day. Nothing. Called today and was promised someone would call today before closing. Nothing! When did it get so hard to give a business your money? Strongly do not recommend unless you’re hoping to NOT purchase anything. In response to the owners reply - the quote was provided 8 weeks after my inquiry and was still not accurate to what I asked for multiple times. Not to mention the 8k they wanted for 3 cabinet boxes. Good supply/ selection of various countertops and materials. Fairly knowledgeable about materials used and durability of each. Given samples to take home and compare. I haven't had them do the job yet, currently busy, but plan is in the works. Here's the update. We purchased a very nice Corian countertop to complement the kitchen and the technician came in for digital mapping and measuring, then once the order was placed and installation scheduled, the day promised arrived and they were on hand and ready to go. The result was a very nice looking top, professionally installed. Sorry, didn't take the photos necessary for an overall look, just an impromptu one.
