Brett is a hard worker and has gone above and beyond expectations with the project I hired him for. It was a large job that entailed a lot of work. When uncontrollable challenges arose Brett made it right and even fixed some repairs that were caused by a 3rd party. The front yard had new sod put down and the pump truck driver drove on to the curb and tore up the yard. Brett filled the area with dirt again and got more sod. As new additions to the initial job were presented he added them in and kept any additional costs low. I really appreciated his work ethic and honesty. He told me up front when he would be here and if he would arrive later in the day. He made it known he was completing lawn cuts and other lawn treatments so I knew when to expect him. If you enjoy paying upfront for lawn care only to be ignored, abandoned, and left hiring another company, then Brett is the guy for you. I paid Landscapes by Brett Iowa, LLC upfront for a year of lawn and snow services, and he completely failed to deliver. By summer he stopped showing up regularly, ignored messages, let my yard go to weeds, and eventually abandoned the job without notice. I later discovered through his Facebook page that he no longer had equipment — something he never communicated. I had to hire another company at my own expense. Unprofessional, unreliable, and not a business I would ever recommend.

Bret is not committed, no attention to detail and has unethical business practices. Bret stopped by our house to solicit business for himself, as he saw our downed tree and brush on the side of the house. I talked to him about the work, he gave me a business card and quoted me $1200. Bret left, but he came back the same afternoon and this time talked to my husband. He lowered the quote to $800 and said he would be here on Sat. He showed on Sat, worked for an hour and 1/2, then went to lunch. Came back to work in his nice clothes. During this time, he only worked to cut the downed tree. After he was done cutting the tree, he talked to my husband about coming back Monday to finish. He said he needed different equipment, but did not mention an up charge. He wanted paid 1/2, so we did pay $400

I called Landscaping By Brett Saturday to mow my lawn. Brett came out within a hour to give me a quote. If it doesn't rain he will be here tomorrow. For what I have going in it was a very fair price. He came out an hour early Sunday. For the jungle that my back yard was he did a fantastic job. I am going to get a quote from him to clean up the downed limbs in my yard too. From first call to done in less than 24 hours. I highly recommend calling him. Wish I had taken a before picture so you could see the difference he made.

Brett did an amazing job with our property! It looks better then it has in years! He took care of cutting trees, bushes, roses and years of overgrowth around our fences. He was prompt, efficient and his quote was very fair and reasonable. I look forward to working with his company in the near future! Thank you again for all your hard work!
