My house was built in 1990 and obviously needed to be updated. The roof was over 20 yrs old and the siding was Masonite that had been painted and peeling for several years. To be perfectly honest I made the decision to replace my roof mostly to save money on my homeowners insurance and I wanted to either paint or learn more about vinyl siding because my Masonite siding was in bad shape and it hadn’t been painted in over 10 yrs.
