Las Olas Parking Garage

Excellent views from the beautiful rooftop viewing area. Very easy access to the beach just a short walk away (3 city blocks). Very clean and well maintained parking structure. Parking was 6.00 for 1.5 hours ... seemed reasonable . Overall a good spot to park and head for the Atlantic Ocean.

Remember the good old days back in the 90's when you could park along A1A in Ft. Lauderdale at the meters that took just a few quarters from your floorboard. The beach was for everyone. Fast forward to today when the city of Ft. Lauderdale has made the beach for the people staying in the hotels. All of the street parking that is used by locals has been all but removed. Affordable lots were turned into parks without parking. Lots near the beach are $20 flat rate. I miss visiting the Ft. Lauderdale beach when it was an inexpensive pleasure. To deal with the lack of parking situation, the 650 space, $21 million Las Olas Garage was built and opened in December 2018. That is a cost of $31,460 per parking space. It was meant to serve as a dramatic gateway to the beach. The lighting cost $1 mill

Great location and good parking rates. We went on day 3 of the Tortuga Music Festival and paid $30. Usually pay $5 for 3-4 hours.

This place is in a great location. Kind of hidden. Price is great. It is secure, cameras everywhere and well lit. Definitely going to park here first instead looking for parking on the beach. 1.5 blocks walk from the beach.

Great location for a visit to the beach. There were ample parking especially seeing that it was New Year’s Eve. 3 stars because of the cost of parking. For a public parking garage, no way you should be paying $4 per hour. Paying for parking via online is a rip off. Almost charged me $31 for 3 hours. Being that we are from Jersey, somehow when walking back to the garage, my daughter thought the raised drawbridge was cool. 🤣
