Las Trampas Public Parking

This park is definitely an East Bay gem that is tucked away. Plenty of free parking here or just down the road if the lot is full. I hiked Southwest to the ridge via Rocky Ridge Road my first time here. Hike up was pretty rigorous with lots of steep grades. Views are really beautiful with clear views to the East and West if you make the climb. Highly recommend if you have decent fitness. Once at the top you can run South along the ridge for a nice loop that will bring you back to the parking lot via Elderberry Trail.

Great place to go for a hike or even a nice walk with the kids it's a great little surprise to find a hidden gem so close to town that's still feels like you had to drive miles to be it this pleasant surroundings plenty of picnic benches that are spaced out enough so you dont feel to crowded. They do have clean vault toilets throughout the park but water can be questionable or unreliable at times

Pleasant place for a quiet walk. Not a lot of people on these trails. Mostly uphill.

Enough parking spots for busy days. Right next to several really good trailheads.

EBRPARK have the best place for walking. Nice view and really clean park.
