Be very careful about using the Latham website to find an installer. We have a Latham pool, in a home, and that is it. We let our guard down thinking all was ok because this was an installer listed in the Latham website. It has been a nightmare. The contractor took 85 percent of the cost of the pool and vanished. Latham bears no responsibility for any of this. If you do choose an installer from the website, double check the their license, see their work, talk to others who have hired the contractor and get a copy of their surety bond. Do not assume that installers listed on the Latham website have learned how to properly install a Latham pool.

If you are considering a new pool or a replacement liner STAY AWAY from Latham Products. Our pool was installed in the fall of 2016 and we covered it 2 weeks later. In the spring of 2017 we opened our pool and started using it at the end of May. By the end of the season this is what our liner looked like. It is severely discolored above the water line and Latham won't consider any type of warranty claim. I have heard every excuse from chemicals being wrong to the sun exposure causing it. I take a water sample to the pool store every 2 weeks and have never had an issue with chemicals. The liner on the south side of the pool looks like new. I can rub the print right off of the liner. It is defective and they will not acknowledge it. STAY AWAY from their products. Pictures attached.

We purchased our Galvanized 24 foot pool and was told it would last us 15 - 20 years. This was the reason we bought this pool as we were looking for longevity for the extra cost. Within 4 years, our pool started to rot and rust and began to put holes in the liner. When we requested warranty, they refused saying they did not warranty rust. How can a company who builds pools out of Galvanized steel not warrant rust. That is the whole idea of galvanizing. Our pool company that we bought from has been fantastic in trying to help us but no help from Latham Pool company. After reading many of the reviews, I see that I am not the only person unhappy. Please consider another company before buying a pool.

Your company's limited lifetime warranty at the time of purchase demonstrated to us that you stand behind your products, and therefore, was a factor in our choosing a Latham pool. We were disappointed when shortly after installation our pool began to show material defects and over three years later, we are still waiting for a repair. 2020 • August 5, 2020. We took delivery of our new Latham Olympia 16 fiberglass pool. • August 7, 2020. We began to fill the pool with water as installation began. • September 10, 2020, 36 days after delivery, we noticed a portion of the step was beginning to chip off.
