Lathrop Irrigation District

Has anyone dropped off checks directly to the Lathrop staff and had those check magically disappear? This has happened twice in less than a year. If it happens once, okay, but two times and more something shady is happening here. I agree with the folks labeling this company as shady and scammy. The staff looks very untrustworthy, I have never had this issue with any utility company. I have reported them to Chase and will continue up the chain with my complaint. They individuals are ridiculous. If we could opt out of their service, I totally would. New management is needed and a more secure way of cashing checks and protecting peoples sensitive information is needed.

Absolutely the biggest scam of company. For a 15 day delinquent account you have to have 375 for restoration fee so basically I payed 700 to get my electrical back on that is basically a quarter of my check. They are ruthless. Lathrop needs a new electrical company asap

This is where you pay power for River Islands. Name on the building is River Islands Executive Office, and the company is called Lathrop Irrigation District, but it's where you pay for your power. (Water is paid to City of Lathrop on other side of River) Staff is friendly and helpful, they do take cash, but cannot give change if paying in person. They also take cards with VISA or Mastercard logos.

Lid is a scam. Supposed non profit acts as a for profit company. Horrible rates for solar buy back, less than PGE pays.

They were supposed to be sending me my application information and account, but they never did.
