We love Lawn Doctor - our lawn looks incredible. We have a large backyard and three show dogs who like to tear things up. The annual power seeding and periodic care have our backyard looking great as well!

Lawn Doctor of Greater Chesapeake has truly exceeded expectations. Their service has been consistently outstanding, and every technician who’s visited has been knowledgeable, courteous, and informative. Ms. April at the main office has been incredibly communicative and helpful throughout — a real asset to their team. What impresses me most is the “mom and pop” feel they maintain, despite being part of a larger corporation. It’s rare to find that level of personalized care paired with such operational scale. And with pricing that’s more than fair, they’ve earned my trust and my highest recommendation.

The Lawn Doctor representative answered my questions concerning my lawn. He was courteous and knowledgeable about lawn care. After putting down fertilizer and weed killer he left a receipt with the description of the work that was done for that day. I like that so, I can share this information with my husband. Our grass is thick like carpet and stayed green all fall and winter for 2023. Neighbors have commented, “Your grass looks like carpet.” Before trying Lawn Doctor, our grass was thin, brown and weed infested.

1st 6 months they were great but then it was a nightmare. Came out one day to fertilize and only did half the yard in the back. They use a machine and I think in some places it was not able to get to certain locations so they just did not do it. They also treated for weeds and nutsedge two months later yard was full of weeds and nutsedge and office manager said it was cause of the heat and I explained neighbor used a competitive company and his yard look fantastic. Maybe cause he is two doors down he gets different weather. Now I have to spend $$$ to get the yard back to par.

Personable service. My husband often speaks to the technician about our lawncare needs and we are very happy with the service. The core aeration and deep seeding have done wonders for our lawn.
