The work ends up fine, if you stay on them about it. We hired LIT earlier this year to redo our backyard, build a short retaining wall, and lay new sod. We chose them because their bid came in about 30% cheaper than another company. Verbally, I said to redo the whole irrigation system, which wasn’t on the bid. Adding that later raised the final price by a couple thousand dollars and I can own that, should have read it more closely…a sign of things to come. There was no drawing, no pre-work visit to discuss specifics, nothing to approve. They showed up on day one and went straight to work, great, but no communication. We're new to Oregon and to sprinkler systems and water features. Michelle took our call and reassured us that an assessment would be exactly the way to start. Then Nick Gaspar was quickly scheduled and was more than helpful. He knew what we needed to do, explained it carefully, and was not put off when we decided to take it step by step--some work now and some in the spring. We feel certain that we are in good hands and are paying a reasonable price. Now we see why there are so many 5 stars!

The team was great! They installed a backflow system. Then adjusted the sprinkler system to ensure that the lawn, not sidewalk was watered efficiently. Follow up and office team was very good as well. Highly recommend!

Nick and Brady walked through a review of our irrigation system's status and goals, and had a good plan to take load off of one circuit (to improve water output/pressure) by using a previously non-functioning control valve to do so. They worked on those modifications during the appointment, and were very cordial in the process. The only bummer was that they ran out of time (had to go to the next job) and did not finish a few outstanding items, but will return at a later date for that.

Every time they've sent someone out, they have been professional, courteous and professional. Michelle at the office is Super Helpful. Thanks all.
