Lawn Thumbs

We hired Lawn Thumbs to plant flowers, shrubs and trees in our back yard. From consult and design to execution, they were fantastic! Rachel was so helpful in helping us pick out the best plants for our situation. After putting everything in, there were a few minor glitches to getting water everywhere. We called Lawn thumbs and they took care of us immediately. You really can’t ask for better than that! We are so excited to watch all of the plants grow and fill in. We had so much erosion in the backyard and our hope is that these desert plants and shrubs will help hold onto the soil. If we ever have a need in the future, we will definitely use them again!

At first I was very impressed with this company. Quick and easy to schedule with, they had a tech out to our home in about an hour. Cons: once the tech arrived, we made him aware it was new sod that was overgrown and we needed one mow to get it under control. The tech did NOT walk the grounds at all, he proceeded to mow it without us or him being aware the ground was too squishy. The riding mower got stuck and absolutely ate up one third of our new lawn. We understand mishaps happen, however once it was noticed that no mower was going, we went outside to see that they had just left. Not one person, tech or foreman, thought to knock on the door and explain to us or show us the massive damage. What was mowed is left covered in dead grass debris. I contacted lawn thumbs to do our front and back yard . While they were working I heard a loud noise and the lawn mower stop I looked out my window and saw the worker had gone over my brand new out door rug on my patio ... It wasn’t until after he left that I realized he had actually made holes in it and it wasn’t just dirt. I contacted lawn thumbs the manager was very skeptical and asked for photos and then said “ no matter what we will reimburse you for the cost “ . Sent the photos have tried to contact multiple times and ways . No response. They also did a subpar job getting our lawn ready and missed a whole section of our yard completely. We were not even going to complain but the rug pushed me over.

These guys are the most professional and down to earth people I have ever worked with. Being a new home owner I am so happy with the results they delivered. I gave them a huge list of to dos and they not only completed they exceeded it. I told them to get rid of ALL the leaves which was 24 tarps worth, it took them 3 trips to offload the amount of leaves and brush I had. Not only that but the previous home owners had a ton of logs in the corner of the yard that were so heavy I couldn't do it myself. These guys took care of all of it. I now have a clean slate in my yard, a place I can build upon. I have a breath of fresh air from these guys and my yard work. I highly suggest them to anyone that is looking for an inexpensive and professional company that can help them with their yard work.

We had a major leak in our park strip appear just before leaving for a long weekend. I was out trying to figure out where the leak was coming from when Jose just stopped in passing to see how he could assist. He was able to turn the water off for me and gave me his card in case we needed sprinkler repair. After returning from our weekend trip we called Lawn Thumb to schedule repair. Ricardo was at our house a couple hours later. This was the Monday following a holiday weekend! Ricardo was able to quickly determine the fix and get it done. We were not established customers with Lawn Thumb, but they treated us like we were (even before we called them for work. Thanks Jose!). Fast response, excellent communication, proactive service, and fair price. Highly recommend Lawn Thumb!
