DO NOT PARK HERE EVER!!! We ended up getting stuck in the lot trying to get out. Don’t park here, the scanner on the ticket machine doesn’t work. The attendant who answered after almost 5 minutes of waiting on the phone ended up just hanging up on us. We were stuck there for over 20 minutes. Overpriced and unusable. I think I found out why the lot was so empty. At least the second attendant was helpful. Edit: We we’re trying to leave well before our prepaid time ended, that was not the issue.
Charged me the maximum amount possible ($38) despite being the weekend, which has a flat $15 rate. No staff on hand to help. Pressing the call button, a staff member informed me "there is no weekend rate" and promptly hung up before I could reply. Extorted to pay 2.5x so I could get home out of the cold.
Awful experience with booking parking there online with BestParking ! The automatic gate lets you in, but doesn't let you out. No attendant on premisses and customer service reps (via Help button) just hang up on you. BestParking reps tell you to contact LAZ. Especially exciting in the middle of the night. Hint: if you get in such situation - just push the gate up and go out.
My go to spot to park in Back Bay. Excellent rates, plowed clean in the winter.
Paid in advance but no spots available upon arrival. No attendant and no one answered at the LAZ customer service line. Other drivers in the same situation were parking in tandem spots that I felt might box another car in and/or put my car at risk of a hit, so I left and parked elsewhere. Hopefully my credit card dispute for prepaid spot will hold up. UPDATE: Luis in customer service called me back and credited my purchase. Could not have been more pleasant or helpful. 5 stars for Luis but overall not a great experience.
