LAZ Parking - 16 Chestnut

(AKA 1681 Chestnut Pl Parking, yes they're the same place) Having a decent experience at a parking garage in Denver is rare so I'll share my experience. I found a good prize on ParkWhiz so decided to give it a shot, and I'm so happy I did! My prepaid pass worked first time on the scanner on the in and out, which is always fantastic. TIPS: - It's definitely kind of confusing!! If you need to get back in past 9pm, all the doors are locked- so we just walked in the exit for the cars and took that elevator. - Come from the north so you can make a right hand turn into the garage instead of crossing traffic!!! - We used this garage for a Rockies game. If you do too, go through union station first and then go north to the stadium so you don't get lost in the overpasses 😎

The price is right for weekend and after 5 pm, but it was an absolute nightmare getting back in after 10 pm. There was a large group of us completely baffled by how we were supposed to get in and scrambling to get a solution. Finally realized that we had to call the help desk but even then, there's no clear instructions or signage. They need someone posted to help or at least some clear signs if they're going to close your cars in!

I don’t think I’ve ever parked somewhere to go to work and paid close to as much as I had to pay here. Absolutely ridiculous. Guess I have to ride a bike.

Perfect rate for after 5 pm and weekend parking.

Expensive, but slightly less than the one across the street at 1601 Wewatta.
