LAZ Parking - Lower Locks Garage

It's nice to not be hunting for parking spaces. This garage is large and can accommodate most vehicles. I just can't use it in Kayak season as the roof is too low for my Kayaks. While I tend to avoid places where you pay to park, I sometimes can't avoid Lowell. I will say the parking fee is reasonable, unlike Boston. The views of the city from the top are cool too.

Parked at Warren Street and the reader couldn’t read paper ticket and charged all day rate 12 dollars. Reported occurrence employee replied “ what do you want me to do “ no solution! ! No attendant !

Went to exit the facility using the my credit card to pay but both exits had errors. This happened to multiple people who had to leave their vehicle and wait at the single payout machine to get their tickets paid so they could leave. Please address your system or hire people to work. Some attendees lifted up the barricade just so their vehicles weren’t trapped overnight. Shame to have such an awful parking facility next to a great community center

The payment areas have been “unable to read” debit cards for the last 3 months minimum. You’ll receive no response after calling the first phone number listed for help. After that, there’s a second phone number to call where someone does answer, and they’ll tell you they’re sending someone over to assist. After this call, about 5-10 minutes will pass. Then, and only then, will the person working this lot come to assist you. Absolutely zero reason for this problem to be strung out as long as it has been.

Large garage that serves UMass Lowell, the Lowell Auditorium and other venues. Accessible via footbridges to walk to and from these places. Reasonable rates. Caveat: in rush hours, traffic on nearby streets can be very heavy and slow.
