LeafFilter Gutter Protection

Okay my experience with LeafFilter was odd... 1st I scheduled a free quote. Two people showed up and upsold my fiancé for HOURS. (5pm-8:15pm) All I wanted was an estimate of the cost and what my options are. They will not leave until you agree to have the work done. It is defiantly more than just a quote when they come. My Fiancé did say they were nice people but he had to talk them down from $12,000 to $4,000. Then they told my fiancé they would be sending a team to do the work and it'll take 4hrs. Well they sent one person to do the work by himself and it took him 11hrs to complete the job. I would have rated one star but I don't want that to reflect on the man who did the work. He was forced to work in below freezing temps with zero help. He informed us he was not allowed a break which

I just posted on Trust Pilot. In searching Google reviews I see my daughter posted about my negative experience with Leaf Filter a year back. I will give you a little background. My first winter with Leaf Filter guards resulted in a large ice dam on my roof, causing significant damage and a substantial out of pocket cost for me. I encourage you to view my Trust Pilot review to learn more. The install was October, 2022, FAR00515. Damage occurred January - March 2023.

Contacted leaf filter regarding a quote on their system. They sent their representative Kevin to my house. He spent time to explain everything and make recommendations. He was very knowledgeable and personable. I do not have the product yet but so far Kevin has made the interaction very smooth.

We had LeafFilter install their product 2 years ago. Since it was installed we had problems with ice dams each winter. The gutters have also leaked, and part of the installation was supposed to include gutter cleaning and sealing. The gutters now easily overflow during a heavy rain which never happened before the installation. I finally went up on the roof to look at the leaffilters and was surprised to see what a sloppy job the installers did. I removed the filters so I could clean out the gutters. They had over an inch of dirt in them, so I am convinced they never cleaned the gutters before installation. After seeing how sloppy the installation was and considering the high cost of the filters, I would NEVER go with this company again. I am not satisfied at all. If you go with this comp

The installation was quit and when finished there was no mess. He was very polite and assuring I was buying the right product. I feel relieved knowing I won't have to continually pay someone to clean my gutters. I'm very happy with the work.
