Leffler Energy

I bought a house from a woman who was recently deceased. Leffler came, filled my tank, left me a bill in the precious -owners name. I called and complained, as I did not order oil. The previous owner was signed up for variable pricing, so she would pay whatever market price is for oil. They charged this woman $6/gallon when the market price was $3. Leffler told me I was not on the case because I didn't order the oil. They called back 5+ times a day for weeks asking me to pay the bill, even though the manager said it was not my obligation. Today I was made aware that they sent the bill in the name of the deceased, previous owner to collections. Shady and immoral.

My first experience with this company was last year (2023) due to my HVAC system not functioning properly. The technician assigned to do the diagnostic test was excellent. Fast forward to the first week of May 2024, my cooling system stopped working. I contacted Leffler and they sent out a technician, from PETRO(Leffler Energy and PETRO are under the same umbrella company). I was not home when he arrived, but my wife was. The technician from PETRO told my wife that the HVAC wiring is "all messed up" and that he would come back tomorrow morning with the aide of another technician. The technician never showed up the following day. We didn't receive an email or a phone call from PETRO. Its like the technician disappeared from the face of the earth. I have been a loyal customer for 10 years after inherenting the home and account from my parents who were customers for a previous 20 plus years. Today while I was out in my yard with my lab they showed up to fill my tank. While I was standing by the driver, my dog came over and unprovoked he attempted to strike her in the head wit h a pipe. Luckily it was a glancing blow and no harm. When I ask what the heck, he said he wasn't sure if she was friendly. I said do you seriously think I would be standing here with you letting my dog attack? This may be the end of my contract with Leffler

I called because our heater wouldn't turn on. They sent someone within 3 hours! I was impressed & so thankful. The rep from Leffler was so nice to talk to. They really take care of their customers. We've been with them for about 20 years & plan to stay with them. Good old fashioned kindness!

The company held us over a barrel trying to do a $700 money grab. They did two oil deliveries, raising no issues on the first, but on the 2nd delivery they raised an issue with the vent alarm (a.k.a whistle) and/or the location of the vent pipe. The driver that raised the issue didn't really leave much detail. Was the vent alarm working at all? Did the tanks seem to be clogged? Or was the vent alarm working but not able to be heard? Simple questions that should be answerable, but weren't. But since the delivery tech did fill the tanks, that left me to believe the problem isn't that critical. Because if the vent pipe was believed to be clogged and/or the vent whistle not working at all, they shouldn't have refilled on that date. We called to discuss, and they sent a tech come out to loo
