I was very happy with the professional service I received here. I purchased topsoil in a larger quantity and have a smaller truck. They recommended I take two trips as the weight of the soil could be too much for my truck. Some would see this as a hassle or insult, but I appreciated and respected the advice…and they were right.

Nice guy on the phone gave us a decent quote for top soil so we were going to go with them only to get a call saying they won't deliver to our neighborhood AFTER quoting with the delivery fees. I'm sure they are great if you want to live in the suburbs but my family isn't that boring. All City gave us an even better price and will actually drive to downtown Milwaukee WOW. I'm hindsight I guess I should be thanking them for saving me money! Extra star for that!

Small patio project made much easier by Lemke's. They were fair on price, pleasant to talk to on the phone, helpful in confirming I was asking for the right stuff, and prompt in delivery of the material right where I needed it. I should have visited to look at what I was buying. The “pulverized” top soil “Always stored covered” was full of WET clay balls that took forever to break up and crumble for my top dressing leveling project. Also slowed down by all the glass/plastic/rocks (and shoe heel) I had to pick out of the mix. I’ll be looking for a cleaner product elsewhere for my next load. I can’t have shards of grass in my lawn.
