Lennox Stores (Parts Plus)

Needed a very easy to install part from a consumer point of view. Found their site which says we sell parts. Cool. Visited the store only to learn that yes they sell parts but not to customers directly. That is certainly fine but why isn’t it posted on their website. They only sell to licensed contractors. Sorry for the one star but you could help people not waste their time by saying you only sell to licensed contractors.

Update 2: It is now summer 2024. I had my new HVAC person do the usual spring check. He installed a new condenser coil outside last summer after Lennox failed to send him the replacement compressor. The new coil is not a Lennox, worked perfectly for the remainder of last summer, passed this spring's inspection, and has been functioning flawlessly thus far. After nearly 12 months, my HVAC person still does not have the replacement compressor from Lennox. We purchased the condenser coil he installed rather than wait for Lennox to get off the couch and pretend to care. Update: The second coil repair occured on 16-Jun-23.
