Lenoir Public Works Department

While driving south on Hwy 321A, Norwood Street up Ned Jones Hill, I came across a manhole cover that had been tipped and half off in middle of the road creating a potential hazard. I called Lenoir PUBLIC WORKS TWICE to report, and I got a recorded answering machine on two different extensions. Traffic was having to dodge this manhole to avoid the possibility causing of wrecks or danger. No one was available or taking calls in Public Works (⛤⛤⛤'s) Then it was necessary to call 911 which trans- ferred me to Lenoir TRAFFIC PATROL. They very efficiently took the information and promptly dispatched someone to resolve the issue. They handled it perfectly, and are to be commended for a job well done. Thank you for taking care of this hazardous condition and possibly saving someone's life. (⛤⛤

Came out said there is nothing wrong on there end like there is no way they could say that with the sink hole in the middle of the road in front of my house. It has went from a 12 inch spot to a 12 foot spot.
