Len's Ace Hardware

I was looking for a specific model of smoke detector that is hard to find. I don't live close, the Ace Hardware website said they had the model I was interested in, so I called to confirm. The nice lady on the phone asked how many I wanted. She went to check that they were in stock, grabbed them and held them at the front counter for when I arrived. I got home and noticed that a few of them were manufactured in 2020. The rest were made in 2023. They only last 7 years. I went back the next day (today) to exchange the old ones for newer ones. On the way there I thought these things have lost 2/7 of their life. Maybe they would discount them? This explains why the one (the last one) I got at Lowes was on clearance and heavily discounted. Great staff every one wants to help you find what you need Without even asking for assistance or if you just want to see all products in store and walk around they are more then glad tinker you do so no pressure buying.

We went to this store yesterday. Immediately upon arrival we were approached by a store employee and asked if we needed help. He then proceeded to take us to the item we needed. Later on, as we were browsing, another employee offered help. When we checked out, the cashier Ema was incredibly helpful. She explained how the discounts worked. She was very patient and really knew her math. We had a great experience.
