Liberty Parking Deck

Don't believe the height restriction. Bar at entrance says 6'9". We have a carrier on top of our car. We cleared the bar at the entrance but hit the concrete cross beams. We could not back out and were forced to continue up four levels hitting and scraping on every beam on the way up. The down ramp beams are even lower, maybe just over 6'. We were forced to unload the carrier and stuff it and it's contents into the car in order to exit the garage. We are thankful it fit. We cancelled the rest of our touring for the day and left Savannah. We paid over $8 an hour for this wonderful experience.

Parked in this garage for less than 20 minutes to go on a tour from Liberty Square. Park officials of Fort Sumter said the tour had been canceled from this location. No notification was sent out informing me of this. If I had known, I would not have parked in this parking garage. Charged $2 for less than 20 minutes. Someone should have comped the charge. I guess this is how they treat tourists. Won’t be coming back to that location!

One star for both Liberty Parking and Google. Google says it costs $14-$17 per day. I just went in there and was charged $49.50 for 24 hours — as much as I am paying for my rental car! It could be argued that this is capitalism at its finest, but at least tell me how much it is going to cost before I park the car and have literally no way to back out of the deal without driving through the gate!

Absolutely criminal how much they charge and if you chose to park somewhere else you can’t just leave. We were stuck and had to park and pay $25 for 4 hours. DO NOT PARK HERE

Tried to park there on a Sunday. They wanted to charge me 45$ for parking when parking in a parking garage on the weekend is supposed to be 5$ all day according to a government ordinance. Had to call for assistance to let me out of the garage. Ended up just doing street side parking which is free on Sunday. Do not let this garage scam you.
