After a hailstorm, Lightning replaced the shingles on our 5,000-sq-ft home. While the work was completed quickly, the quality and follow-through were disappointing. Nails and debris were left throughout our yard, which we had to clean up ourselves to protect our children and pets. After the first rainfall, we discovered a leak near the fireplace that caused water damage through the attic and onto our floor. Lightning attempted multiple repairs, but the leak returned and communication became difficult, with repeated delays and excuses. After we relocated and sold the home, the new owners experienced the same leak almost immediately. We had Lightning Exteriors in South Dakota replace all windows and siding on our daughters house as well as wrap soffits and fascia with Aluminum. Matt took the time to listen to what we wanted without giving us that rushed contractor feeling. He also made suggestions along the way to ensure the final result would be as functional as possible without falling short of the look we were after. Once the work was underway, Matt was super easy to work with throughout the whole project and responded to any concerns we had or issues that popped up.
