Let's start off that the company has no customer service number. Lightning Source is owned by one of the largest book wholesalers in the world, Ingram Content. When one is a small growing organization expenses such as that can be unnecessary and time consuming, so email produces better ROI. But for a large organization extensive customer service especially in regards to clients is necessary. I started off book publishing through my first company as a small publisher who operated just like a traditional. But as the years went by and technology brought about POD it brought down book printing costs on short book runs, and so I found it to be a good option to build from. I am an author through a small publisher and although my book has gotten good preorders and excellent press I’m ready to give up. I have NO inventory because the shipments are late. I received one damaged package with 5 of 25 books - 2 with glue stuck to the edges of the dust cover and one paper ruined at the spine. No one cares at all at this company. I’m going to keep digging for better contact info. And notice most of the 4 and 5 stars are from truckers.

Popsicle Publishing uses this company and they have published an entire run of Rebecca Atanassova's book "The Trouble with Bubbles" cover with the bumblebee book inside. I'm trying to get a good copy and not another misprint. I'm n my 4th try!!!! Barnes & Noble has even contacted them to no avail. :(

I purchased from this company a collection of Edgar Allan Poe's short stories that claims to be all of them though it's impossibleto tell if this is actually the case. The formatting of this collection is absolutely garbage in terms of quality. It's just everything thrown together with no index. Stories beginning halfway down the page that another one ended.. This is etremely low quality publishing of extremely high quality literature.
