This is quite frankly the most interesting law school you have never heard of. It is amazing that this small, barren, building is where law studies started in the U.S For those near New Haven, think about the Yale Law School campus while you sit at the desks inside this small building. Today we equate top law schools with Yale and Harvard, but this small house with no bathroom or internet is the genesis.. The best part about this place is that you can sit down at the reproduction law desks or stand at the podium and let your imagination run wild. While I was here I stood at the podium and gave an improvised speech about the legality of wearing cargo shorts as a man. Some guy walked in and listened to me, but he said I didn't know what I was talking about. I informed him I wasn't a lawyer

Attending an event here on a beautiful June day last week for the NIABA and CIABA, this small historic treasure turned out to be worth hours of learning. The gathering was held on the back lawn under an outdoor white tent, with chairs, podium and monitors for members who couldn't attend from other states and countries to partake via Zoom. Tapping Reeve, along with James Gould, the founder of the Litchfield Law School and owner of the home on these grounds, would have been proud to see so many lawyers convene here for their annual meeting. An amazing place to visit.. unfortunately I only had the time to check out the grounds in the garden in the rear of the property but I will return at some time in the near future, God willing, and take the tour that begins inside the building with the attendant there. The garden in the back had a variety of areas where you can sit and enjoy the sights and sounds surrounding you.
