Live Oak Ready Mix

Ray always does his best to get me concrete according to my schedule. Being relatively new to the scene, there have been many times I've called other suppliers in the area looking trying to schedule some concrete, and when I tell them I don't have an account with them suddenly they are booked up for the next 10 days. Ray always delivers. Drivers have always been cool and willing to work with us making a delivery, even when circumstances aren't always ideal. I will continue doing business with them 👍

I ordered almost 200 yards. In the beginning quality control went well. A couple trucks appeared to be short on concrete. Quality control guy said he would look into and get back with me. He agreed they looked short. sh never did. He never showed up again. Everything went well until my last load. Every yard I received was 3500 psi. The last load I received was 3000. No one could explain it. Basically, told me I was the one that ordered it wrong . I have probably bought more than 350 yards in total from them. I have a ton more to buy but will go somewhere else. Not happy with this place at all.

I am very unhappy with Live Oak Materials. I ordered 7 yards of cement and only received about 6 yards. I called dispatch and asked them how much cement for a 18' x 25' x 5" and they said that it was 6.9 yards so I ask them why I only got 4" out of the load and they came up with every excuse in the world. After speaking to other contractors about my experience they also told me that Live Oak has a reputation for shorting people on cement. No where on my receipt did it state the weight of the truck before and after loading. I will NEVER DO Business with these crooks again.

Your driver's should clean debris from trucks before they get in the road, I got pelted with some good size chunks this morning at 4:14 on 181 in Portland, broken windshield, it wasn't a random rock, this cement truck was dropping way too many.
