Long Energy

Beware - I’ve never posted a review and I would like to share my experience with long energy to hopefully save someone from the catastrophe I had to deal with because of them. I will start with I had an outdoor oil tank that they filled and it leaked out entirely within a couple of days. They claim that they do not inspect tanks and that it is the owners responsibility which I disagree with but according to NYS law the energy companies are not liable. It seems ridiculous that a lamen homeowner should be expected to know if an oil tank is good or not. Calling other oil companies most of them offer tank insurance which helps with the cost of an oil spill which for me is about 30k at this point. I have been looking for a long term relationship with an oil provider for quite a while and I have found that in Long Energy particularly the Ravena office. Cate Zakens and her colleague Jean in the Ravena office have been super responsive. I have a number of buildings in the area and during this cold season there have been several no heat calls and I have found Long Energy to respond in a timely manner and dispatch staff promptly so that my tenants are not without heat. They also solved a steam heat balancing issue that several other provider's were unable to. To those that have steam heat it is hard to find experts in that field , Long has an experienced technician. Their rates are very reasonable unlike some others who take advantage. I highly recommend. We recently switched to Long Energy! They have been absolutely wonderful! No sneaky price gouging! Their customer service has been wonderful and the service technicians are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I highly recommend them. If you don’t have them, switch and get away from dishonest propane companies!

We switched from a different heating oil delivery service about a year ago after having multiple issues with the former company. We have now been with Persico Oil for about a year and they consistently deliver top notch customer service. Everyone we have ever dealt with has been beyond pleasant to speak with. We recently had a mini heating emergency and were away taking care of a family member when we asked for Persico to make a heating oil delivery before some winter weather set in. They were quick to respond and helped us better focus on our family rather than worry about our home. I highly recommend their services.

I have been with These guys since i first moved to Ravena in 2006. I love dealing with Jeanne and Cate and the rest of the Ravena branch for the past 18 years. You couldn't ask for a nicer group of people. Shout out to Jason as well who always goes above and beyond to make it right !!
