Lou Curley's Chimney Service

I cannot recommend this company enough. I had scheduled an appointment to get my chimney cleaned and had felt there may be a squirrel getting in there so we possibly needed a new cap. Well, days before my official appointment I called Lou Curley's panicking (as one does) because my fears were confirmed. They were very transparent about what they could and could not do when it came to a squirrel but said they would come out and check. I knew they had a full schedule and they still got someone to come out. They were able to safely fix my chimney cap and liner while the squatter was out for the day. And we dealt with animal control after that. I was so thankful I called Lou Curley's. They could have easily said we will be out in a few days as planned. Or really that they don't deal with squir

I had such a great experience with the team at Lou Curley! I was completely lost on what I would need to make our chimney/fireplace workable. They did a great job educating me on what I need, they even offered a less expensive service because I didn’t actually need the full cleaning I initially booked. They also closed the ash box in the fireplace which was not even something I had planned and they were able to do it easily the same day! The guys were super friendly and really understanding that I had a bunch of contractors all in the house. They were extremely patient, friendly, and helpful. I’ll definitely be using them for all cleanings and fireplace needs moving forward!

Very rarely do l have the experience of working with honest and sincere service companies. Today Lou Curley restored my faith. He provided an assessment of my issue at no cost but most importantly informed me that l did not need the service and product recommended by another company. So glad l did my homework. He could have taken advantage but did not. Thank you and continued blessings.

Lou and Zack did a very professional inspection of our large 110 y.o. fireplace and chimney, video inspected and recorded chimney tiles and mortar joints all the way up, took measurements of the firebox and other details for confirming proper functioning, and made reasonable recommendations to remedy smoke problem (fireplace top lip too shallow for proper venting, add dimension) all for a very reasonable price with no upcharges or requests to perform unnecessary work. Very impressed and pleased. And they are a local business which we like to support.

We noticed the ash dump opening in the floor of our fireplace was getting full. Unfortunately the previous owner sealed off the opening in the basement to clean it out. We decided to have the opening in the floor of the fireplace sealed. Joe and Zach were friendly and professional, answered my questions, gave suggestions for cleaning and the different fireplace screens I might consider. I did my homework before choosing Curley's and calling for an appointment. I am so pleased that I did. I definitely recommend this company!
