Lower Tantalus viewpoint

This is free to visit. There's a pull off where you can safely park to take in the views. Speaking of the views of Honolulu and Waikiki, they're amazing.

One of the best views of Honolulu. Must visit. Uber or car rental. I don't believe the bus reaches up there. Bathrooms and a couple of picnic tables in site. No hiking just a few hundred feet to look out point.

This doesnt have quite as large of a view as at the top but at least you can keep an eye on your vehicle

Best panoramic view I've gotten of Honolulu so far. An aptly named scenic spot. Although parking is free, there are signs posted warning visitors about it being a high-theft area. So I would advise not leaving any valueables visible in your vehicle when you park.
