I LOVE THIS LOWES , I’d rather pay the couple of cents more (you get a discount with their CC) than go to their big box competitor . The employees are happy, and go out of their way to help you! The store is bright , clean and organized ! It made me happy just walking in. Rob , the manager helped me about three times in a span of 30 mins from three different employees calling for him when I had a question or issue. The young lady at customer service help me rent a truck on 1/2/26 went above and beyond and made sure I understood everything. Homedepot is closer to me but I’d rather take the trip here just bc I love the environment of this store.

We drove all the way from Canada to the Buffalo Amherst Lowe’s specifically to pick up tile, and unfortunately had a very uncomfortable and frustrating experience with an employee named Sue. As soon as we spotted the tile we needed, she came around and asked if we needed help. We politely said we were fine, but instead of moving on, she just stood there silently, watching us, which felt skeptical and unwelcoming. The tile section is a very small space, and we were already struggling to load large 2x4’ tiles onto the oversized cart that barely fit in the area. Rather than offering actual assistance, Sue’s presence only made things more awkward and difficult. My wife and I purchased a drier, with the belief we purchased the installation and removal of the old one. This was done over the phone with a Lowe’s associate as the original drier had to be returned. So we paid the difference for a more expensive drier but apparently they didn’t carry over the same package. So we called to address the services we thought were purchased and willing to pay the extra. No family can go without a drier for 2 weeks and there is no way to speed up the process. Here is the real source of the complaint, as we were transferred to the assistant store manager, which we did not ask to speak with. Not sure why but the layout of Lowes always triggers my anxiety. I feel lost. Most of the brands they carry would not be my fist choice for power tools but in a pinch they normally have what you need

Ordered two chest freezer on black Friday sale. Went to pick up it wasn't there somehow it was lost, I rented a u haul for pick up. Had some issues but Store manager "PJ" AND THE associate "Shalea" was amazing throughout the whole situation and very helpful and very thoughtful. 5 start customer service. Lowes should Definitely be grateful for them in their store.
