Lowe's Home Improvement

Only has self checkout. I've decided that Lowe's does not really want repeat customers. And the military discount is almost in name only. There are so many restrictions on its use. Lowe's used to be a great place to shop. Now I'm thinking anywhere but here

We went there to get a kitchen design. They said there was not a kitchen designer on duty for another 2 days & we should make an appointment and come back then. We just drove 114 miles and not going to do that. We bought a few other things while there but they suddenly have no record of my veterans discount that I have used there for years. I was told I have to reapply. We went directly to Home Depot designed and purchased a kitchen with appliances and used the vet discount.

1st world problems, but Hear me out: The sales floor people here are friendly and helpful... but I was looking at a countertop sample that I only need for 8 sq ft for a small 2nd bathroom remodel. Its only after you waste your time (and theirs) talking to them at a desk for a quote that they tell you you cannot purchase anything less than a full 25 foot slab of anything. No one could point out to me where on their signage that was listed, and I prefer it be there to not waste my time. I was willing to pay for a slab for the sake of it and use it in a 2nd bathroom i didnt plan on yet ...but there would have been 5 square ft left that I apparently HAD to confirm/account for where it would need to go or be installed??? Like I didnt need it- i was told I couldn't just keep the extra slice- the

Friendly service and employees always seem to be knowledgeable. Always in-stock items that we need as we are constantly doing projects big and small.

Wow ! Worst EVER !!!! That's all I can say after making a 90 mile round trip to pick up a couple of sheets of plywood... that's NOT STOCKED ! But then, there wasn't much of anything stocked. Oh ! It was all up on the top of the shelves, but not down where a customer could access it. I needed three sheets of 5/32", and I needed each sheet cut in half, long-ways. But even if the plywood was properly Stocked.. the saw was OUT-of-ORDER... AGAIN !!!!! (was told that it had been out of order for at least a week) Never seen a Store that was so poorly managed !
