UNBELIEVABLY HORRIBLE EXPERIECE HERE!!! I special ordered a window with one and a half months waiting period and the day it’s finally ready for pick up what do you know, the window is cracked. They wheel it out like it’s all ready to go and bam! I ask to speak to a manager and he basically threw his hands up in the air and says “I can refund it” I advised that I have a large opening in the front of my home and window is ready to go in. Not even an apology, not anything at all but a refund. He says “we can’t help you until Monday anyway I dont know what to tell you because theyre closed”. WOWWW just wow! This stopped me from selling my home by New Year as planned and I’m now sitting with plywood covering a 100”x50” hole in the front of my home for the holidays!!!! I wish i could leave ZE
Outstanding Kitchen Design Experience From Ann at the Commack LI location Today (01/04/26) we walked into Lowe’s without an appointment, and the level of service we received was truly exceptional. Ann, Kitchen Design Specialist, spent over three hours with us patiently walking through every concern, question, and option. Her knowledge, design talent, and professionalism were immediately apparent. She offered expert advice, thoughtful suggestions, and practical solutions, always explaining the why behind each choice. Throughout the entire process, Ann was patient, positive, and genuinely invested in helping us make the right decisions—not just selling cabinets. Lowes Commack NY. My 80yr old airforce/Veteran mom sent me to Lowes with a list of items to pick up for her. I had a copy of her military ID and was directed to install the Lowes app, then in had to do ID app to verify her status. I had to leave the store to charge me phone. I ran errands & returned to make the purchase. The installation of all i had done didn't go through due to too many attempts. I asked if the clerk could get the manager, a call resulted in the statement THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO IF THE APP IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. I asked if the Mgr could come and apply the 10% discount? NO. I explained my mom broke her patella and elbow and can not get around well AND a vet that served in the airforce. At this point in in ANGER tears. I was told sorry have a goodnight. It’s a super convenient store to get what you need, whenever you’re in the jam because it’s so centralized. The store is always clean, and for the most part easy to find everything. The downside is the customer service at the front. Youre never met with customer service, you’re met with people who just don’t want to be there. Me personally, I just try to get in and out because I do not want to deal with attitudes when I walk into a store. Not sure if they’re just having bad days or they just hate their job. It would be pleasant to have a smile once in a while when you go there. Had to cancel two orders there because I just didn’t want to deal with them. Rude comments and 0 patience is the worst to have when people ask basic questions.
I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to share this experience. Today I walked out of several stores because the customer service was terrible—nobody cared to explain the products or help me find what I needed. But then I met George at Electronics (yes, George with the hat!), and everything changed. His customer service was on another level. He took his time, explained every detail with patience, answered all my questions, and truly went above and beyond to make sure I made the right choice. Thanks to him, I just purchased my new washer and dryer, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. If you’re looking for real customer care, go see George. He’s the best!
