Lowe's Home Improvement

I’ve been shopping at this LOWES for years and have found their service and products to have been acceptable but unremarkable. I’ve recently noticed a significant improvement in customer service and attentiveness on the part of employees. On a recent visit I was looking for some small switch plate screws. A young male employee approached me in the hardware aisle and offered help. He located the item several aisles away then returned with a sample and escorted me to the exact location so I could see the choices. ALL THIS for a small ( under $4 ) item. I am sorry that I didn’t get the name of this courteous young man. He was an outstanding representative of the store who generated a fortune in good will far beyond the meager price of my purchase. Just left Lowe’s and I have to say for a cold miserable Saturday night the staff were so incredibly friendly. We encountered 6-7 different employees starting with Paul who helped us so much with our project and clearly has vast experience. We had several guys moving things about while we checked out and they were so fun loving. as well the guy who commented on our new material we were buying to try out. He gave us confidence it was the right purchase. And finally Kevin who dashed over when he saw my husband struggling to attach it to the roof of our car. We love you Saturday night Lowe’s crew!!!

I was actually a huge fan of Lowe’s before this experience and will never spend a dime on this absolute horrible company again. The absolute worst costumer service, I would give 0 stars if I could. Their manager Matt T gave me zero help with an order. As well as their corporate customer service. I went to the Milford Lowe’s to buy a tub and was told the one I wanted was available in Danbury. Was told to order it online so it would be available for pick up by the time I got there. After I ordered the tub it said that it would be available 2 weeks from my order date. Which defeats the whole purpose of ordering it at their location. I tried to transfer the order to the Milford Lowe’s which is much closer to me but the only option I had was to cancel my order. Lisa manger and mat assistant manager and Tim head cashier are great people to work with at lowes purchased a craftsmans tool set that was no good they help me return the defective item that was no good I saw another manager few months earlier explain to him the issue he said to bring it back I left the country for a few months cause had a family emergency that I had to deal with I brought the tool set back Lisa and her othere staff in my review work phenomenal to help me get the item returned even though there computer system kept rejecting the return thanks to Lisa and her two othere staff they got the item return and even exchanged it out for me thanks to Lisa and her excellent staff and service highly recommend them greatly appreciated will be back to purchase more item greatly appre

Very friendly, helpful floor staff member saw me searching their isles... Asked me what I was looking for, went to grab the exact light I'd been searching for & left it for me at self checkout. The self checkout attendant thanked me for my business, wishing me & my kids a very nice weekend as I left with them. A courteous helpful staff makes all the difference at big box stores like these. Also easy returns process for a different item & great sale prices. Huge selection of high quality items with a great rewards program definitely helps too. Overall, they have earned my repeat business.
