Lowe's Home Improvement

After over two weeks on the phone with number in response to my first review, I emailed corporate/ CEO. This Lowe's has some of the LOWEST ratings, just Google it. That said if you have the misfortune of visiting here you will understand why. Management is the biggest bad influence of the beyond poor service. Corporate said I could return for my refunds and I will definitely pursue the refund for installation mainly due to the manager telling me he could/ would not do it.

Between the self checkout which I can’t stand, nobody ever available in paint (at least when I need it), the prices almost always higher than Amazon and I don’t mean a little I mean $149 vs $100 and now a harbor freight being built directly in front of the store (who allowed that?!) selling EVERYTHING Lowe’s sells in their tool department you guys need to improve. Today I went in for paint was first in line and walked down the aisle to make sure they had it and return to find 2 now in line. No thanks. Nobody has time for that. I’ve been to other big boxes. Most notably Home Depot and you immediately get help. Sherwin Williams? Instant help. Ace in Keysville? Instant help. Lowe’s you have to wait. For EVERYTHING. Worse if you do find someone to help you they just pull out their phone. Well

Some very nice lady's work there so five stars. but tbh I like the orange place better. However the lady's on the floor are amazing so I keep coming back. A few of the dudes there kinda suck except the chainsaw guy he was cool 😎

Have been a customer for over 40 years. They would not take my return for an item totaling $25 since it was 92 days instead of 90. Meanwhile, the same day, we spent over $1k in lumber (which took 2 hrs to pick through) Will be shopping at locally owned companies in the area in the future. Sorry Lowe’s, you lost a loyal customer.

Staff person at Lowe’s in Farmville was very helpful and showed me exactly where to find a product that I needed. Many of the household paint and home improvement items that I need come from this store. I come here on a regular basis and am grateful for the Military Veteran discount being offered for personal use. Also, it's nice that a few parking spaces in the lot are reserved for Military Veterans. Also, I am happy that our business Piedmont Real Estate looks to Lowe's first for its office painting needs!
