Our dryer and washer have a been broken for over a month. We got a new washer and dryer that would be delivered and installed through lows. Our dryer is run off gas. Finally after a long wait when they come to deliver and install it today and yesterday. There was a problem with the dryer guy and the washer guy not being able to remove the gas operated dryer. It is not their fault that they can’t remove it but the fact that lows didn’t send someone in the first place to do it. When they knew these people wouldn’t be able to do so. We now have to wait even longer for this to be installed. I now have a big washing machine and dryer sitting in my dining room when I have guests coming over for new years. Do better!

We were interested in a Kitchen Aid Vent Hood that was marked Clearance $289 down from the original price of $1,519. The display was the only one available so we agreed to take that one. After disassembling the display, we noticed that a few parts necessary for the installation were missing. The customer service rep went looking for the original box (which most likely contained what we needed). He came back and told us he could not find it. When we told him we were no longer interested in purchasing the vent hood, he gave us an attitude and commented “there’s a reason it’s marked down on clearance”. Lowe’s, please don’t throw away the original boxes to your display items. Poor business practice for sure.

I purchased a 36 in stove since 23rd of December. The order was place I was told I can get it as early as Jan 2nd, it’s now 12th of January no one seem to know where my stove is at. Few attempts to call the store and still no word. Update: it is now the 22nd and still I don't have the stove install. I was told that there will be a service person coming to my house on the 21st but they failed to give me a time of arrival so I took about 4 hours of my work to wait for them. After many conversation I was told they could not do the installation because the stove I got requires 2. I called the glenmont store again spoke to the only person that seems to care "Ann" she said that she would rely the information to the manager but as up to now still no phone call. Both times I've ordered items online for pick-up recently it seemed they were both returned items or old stock items....1 was a deck belt for my riding mower without the cardboard packaging and the other was a weed killer product missing the spray handle which comes with it as well as being dirty/dusty as on the shelf for along time. I would have given it only 2☆ if not for the customer service staff promptly replacing the items.

I just have to give a big thank you to Leo and Ben at Lowe’s! I went in after having a flood in my basement that ruined all my carpet. I was so nervous about putting carpet down again, but those two young men were so kind and patient with me. They explained everything and recommended I go with LVP flooring instead. I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure at first, but they really took the time to show me the options and helped me picture how it would look. Well, I’m so glad I listened — the new flooring looks absolutely beautiful, and I feel much better knowing it’ll hold up if anything ever happens again. It’s rare to find such helpful and caring employees these days. Leo and Ben truly went above and beyond, and I’m very grateful for all their help.
