Getting countertops through Lowe’s was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Beyond the inconvenience of going 2 months without countertops and therefore without a functioning kitchen sink, the complete lack of communication and accountability was unacceptable. I was strung along for weeks with little to no transparency. There was an entire Monday–Friday stretch where I did not hear from a single person, no calls, no emails, no updates on the Lowe’s website. Nothing. I was repeatedly given false and inconsistent timelines. On January 5th, I was told installation would be 2–3 weeks. Then it became 2–4 weeks, then 3–6 weeks. Gave a five star review prematurely. It's now one star because they lied. I placed a pick up order online and it never said ready. I went to the store to check on it. They said they never had that in stock when I placed the order. I left, very unhappy. They called later (on Christmas Eve night) to say they had it and would put it aside for after Christmas for me. I went back the morning after Christmas and the sales associate who was there this time seemed inconvenienced that I was there. She was very rude and said they didn't have it. She left for about fifteen seconds "looking" for it, though I'm not sure she knew what she was looking for, can't neck and said they didn't have it. Absolutely terrible experience I went in on Black Friday and nobody wanted to help me I asked and asked and asked and then I finally pulled one of the managers to the side and they told me they couldn’t help me with what I wanted to ask questions about after grilling them for about 20 minutes, asking a bunch of questions and receiving nothing but I don’t know. I’m not in this department the whole time I inferred was it in my best interest to go through the app after doing that the app glitched out and put multiple of many things in my cart and ended up being a total nightmare. After dealing with customer service, they said they could not even honor the appliance prices that I had originally bought, and that I would have to get refunded and restart an order at full price. I wasn't. Too happy with Lowe's. I bought an appliance there. They delivered it and there are people who delivered. It. Didn't know how to hook it up. I still have the refrigerator it's not hooked. Hope that this may help others. You can get appliances there, but I would get someone else to install it. They tell you that they have installers, and what you actually get are people that don't know what the heck they're doing. It's up. To you if you wanna go there. Dhevon was an exceptional worker who was friendly and efficient. His colleagues were also helpful. Overall good experience, although no human cashiers is a little like forcing customers to work for free.
