I wish I could give a -5 review honestly but, Do NOT spend your money on custom Blinds from Lowe’s in Highland, NY, unless you love aggravation! This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with a home improvement store. We spent over $3,000 on custom Bali Blinds, and two installation attempts later, we still don’t have them fully installed. First visit: the installer showed up, but Lowe’s forgot to send the screws. We had already removed our temporary blinds, and when we called to report the issue, they acted like we lost the screws. We received no apology, no accountability, and they refused to offer any credit for the temporary blinds we had to replace. Second visit: only 2 of 5 blinds could be installed. Why? Because: One window was measured

Had to leave a pile of goods at customer service due to principal. You know the world has officially changed when you now try to pay at Lowe’s with a legitimate older-series $100 bill, and their machine won’t accept it. Even after it passed the counterfeit marker test. I was told to use a card or a newer bill instead. It’s frustrating that valid U.S. currency can’t be accepted because of machine limitations. I hope Lowe’s updates its systems or allows more flexibility in situations like this. I had a card I could use, but I have the right of choice. If my money is no good there. Then I will go elsewhere.

This Lowes does a really good job with returns, and their customer service is pretty excellent. Thankfully, they upgraded their self check-out, so you can now tap-to-pay. The paint-match section has always been a little weird for me though, it just doesn't seem to work? I don't know if it's because when they take the sample they zoom ALL the way in, or what, but it's always just a little off- thankfully, they take the paints back if you just use a tiny bit when you get home to test it. Alma in paints was pretty helpful, she seemed overwhelmed because another customer was being very rude- but she handled it well. She got me my paints with no issue, and took the time to deal with me having two paint chips from one wall because I wanted to test if they were the same- which was very nice. Cami

Newburgh location is horrible! Their inventory is never accurate. Got there at 6am to pick up 13- 3'x12' corrugated metal panels which there were supposed to be 25 on hand. There was a truck being unloaded taking up all the parking spaces in the contractor parking which is a whole separate issue. They said they couldn't get to the product which was stored outside because it was blocked in a s it would take them a bit. I was there for over an hour when they realized they didn't even have the product there. Totally ridiculous! It's like they could care less and since they are there all day they feel like you have unlimited time too.

always nice to go to Lowe's and find what I need. This trip needed some new tools and they had a great selection of tools. prices where ok a little high but right now everything is pricey
