Lowe's Home Improvement

I do not recommend buying appliances from lowes. I ordered a washer and dryer and it took four different deliveries to get everything. The first one was cancelled at the end of the delivery time window, then the next two deliveries the dryer was damaged. They have a customer care number you can call but its completely useless. If you need appliances I recommend an actual appliances store. I learned Don's appliances in Morgantown will deliver to the area and they have way better customer service

This store is IMPOSSIBLE to deal with. I tried to order paint. I couldn't get thru the phone system to talk to anyone and when I finally did I got hung up on 4 times put into ques with no answers. The employees I spoke with knew nothing they transferred me to people who knew less. The website was worse. I'm extremely disappointed with my overall experience. I'm a contractor and frequent this store. But that's dead NEVER AGAIN. I feel I would have gotten further calling a preschool. They should be ashamed.

I was looking for propane heaters for the home, but couldn’t find them. Chuck in cabinetry and appliances was very helpful and found a heater that was what I was looking for on line. There were none in stock, but he printed off the item with specifications. He told us about in home estimates in case we were interested. We appreciated his help! Meanwhile, my husband had talked to an employee named Guy who showed us what was in stock and discussed the different heaters that were in stock. We did not make a decision right then because we are still deciding what we want to do. We appreciated the help from Chuck and Guy.

Asked the young man working in plumbing if he could assist me. The store was not busy at 4:00pm on a Monday afternoon. He told me I would have to wait until after he finished setting up the furnace filter displays before he could help. Wonderful customer first approach. I left and will drive 1 hour to Home Depot or use small independent hardware stores from now on. There were already 500 of the same filters on display that he was stocking. Not like they lost a filter sale but did lose plumbing, hardware and building material business that day. Over a $5 part and a display.

My wife and I have always enjoyed shopping at Lowe's for our Appliance and Landscaping and other DIY projects!! Great service ... varied and plentiful inventory AT FAIR PRICES ... and the store is generally clean and well organized!! We strongly recommend Lowe's (Specifically Allegany County Lowe's on National Hwy in LaVale, MD).
