Lowe's Home Improvement

I needed some items from Lowe's and placed an order online for pickup. The process was very simple and the products that I ordered were ready almost immediately. The associate that assisted me in the store was very nice and had me on my way quickly.

This is consistently one of the most poorly managed stores I have visited. The staffing is severely limited, and the employees on-site appear uninterested in assisting customers. Furthermore, there is a recurring issue with inventory accuracy. Your online system frequently shows over 30 items in stock, yet after placing an order, I am often informed that the items are unavailable or cannot be located within the store. The lack of service and unreliable inventory management are unacceptable. I will be taking my business to the nearby Home Depot, where the service is significantly better. I hope you will take the necessary steps to improve your staffing and inventory tracking.

This evening, Christmas Eve at 4 PM I went to Lowe’s on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut for an emergency piece of plywood that also needed to be cut. We first encountered Nikki at Customer Service front desk. She could not be more wonderful or accommodating. When we asked if someone was available to cut wood, she personally took us to the saw and located José, who was available and trained to cut the wood for us. Nikki stayed with us until she knew Jose was set up to do the job. She even helped us carry the plywood to the saw. We could not be more grateful and thankful for the assistance of both of these wonderful employees. Especially on a holiday eve when you’re getting ready to close. I was at the Norwalk, Lowe's today and found their customer service much improved. There is a noticeably higher level of focus on customers now. In particular, John in the Lighting and Electrical Department, provided good guidance and showed me a bunch of different lighting options, explaining the differences of each one. John was knowledgeable and helpful - that is rare to find in any retailer anymore. He also went the extra mile, and he didn't really have to, by getting me a cart when he saw I was carrying a bit too much. So I was very impressed. So I am a committed customer of this Lowe's store. I also ordered some water softer online and the pick up was a breeze.

Love going there! Everything is so organized and clean, nothing like Home Depot which is the opposite of it. ✨ #Organization #Cleanliness
