Lowe's Home Improvement

This store changed a lot since I visited few years ago. It is a friendly and organized place to shop for home improvement needs. Security is much improved when compared to few years back. I would recommend this place.

Pretty basic selection and expensive if you just need a little of this and that—Pretty accommodating and plenty of parking. I need to find the little ma&pa hw stores who can sell me only what I need. Go up in price and quality improves but you’re paying top $ for a 5 screws or 2x for 20. The cheap ones are in high quantity because you’ll ruin the first three. Just get the one expensive screw and don’t ruin the work. They so have some good stuff too. I find their staff put up with my nonsense when I seem impossible to appease. They are a vital pillar in the community.

Be prepared to find whatever you need on your own, help is non existent. And I don't mean that they don't have people roaming around, I mean that these people know zero.. less than zero. First person i asked" where are the shower fixture parts?"...bo response and head down into device while i stood there like a bozo. After about 30-45 seconds, i just walked on, ill find out myself. Then, I asked 2 different people, "which way is Isle 5?" Both had no idea and started to walk to the middle isle to look and see which way it was...how do you not know that if your working there? And then I found what I was supposedly looking for, the app told me isle and bay, and that there were 12 in stock.... well, I got to the place where they should be, and nada. I searched and searched, zero.

Worse location ever. Waited so long for assistance to get a dishwasher from an associate then she gave us the wrong one. We paid for the more expensive model we wanted and lugged it home, up 7 flights stairs with my husband and I, took it out to install, after doing all the work to remove the previous one, ONLY to find out that it was the wrong one. Incredible then they didn’t even have the model in store that we were sold. Terrible service, so difficult to get an associate to help you then it was like oh well. Never shopping here again, at Home Depot associates are abundantly asking if you need help.

I used Lowes online to purchase an upright washer dryer for my tenant. Easy to purchase but difficult to install due to Lowe's lack of diligence. My area requires a drain pan which is required before installation. Lowes could have notified purchasers by seeing the address to be delivered. Can't expect Lowes to figure out every local jurisdiction, but the delivery guys new before opening the truck rear door that the pan was required. No communication between delivery service and Lowes? Professional installation is not really what you pay for, more like two truck drivers providing the muscle and a simple connecting of the appliances. Anything beyond this Lowes cannot provide.
